She likes me for meOne of the biggest blunders most men do when in a relationship or about to get into one is to try to do anything to be “likable”. It is not until a man can proudly say “ She likes Me for Me”, that he would know he is doing the right thing, pushing the right buttons and being with the right girl. Why the heck is that important? Why should she like you for who you are? Why is it not recommended that you change so much for your girl?

You will rot in hell

If you don’t be yourself and try to be someone else, you are guaranteed to lead a life that will take you nowhere. You will land straight in front of hell’s oil-washed, heated-up doors. This isn’t life and no one is that damned important for you to change yourself in a way to curry their favor. Be who you are and let them decide if they should be with you.

She Likes Me for Me Because You like her for what she is

You didn’t ask her to change; you didn’t throw tantrums and you certainly didn’t write out a list of “100 things to do and change before I date you”. Why the hell is she doing it? If she is, politely ask her not to. Tell her that this is how you are and will be. You like as she is, don’t you? Well, the thing with relationships is that everything is mutual. If she is making demands, it isn’t being mutual; it is being mutinous.

Isn’t it commonsense?

It’s funny that we are even dedicating an entire article to something that should have been obvious. Isn’t it common sense to seek freedom in trying to be who you are and not change for others? I am not asking you to be rigid, stone-faced, grumpy grandpa and absolutely not make any compromises in your relationship. But change too much for her, no way.
